Edelweiss Air is Switzerland's leading leisure travel airline and flies approximately 600'000 passengers a year to the world's most beautiful holiday destinations. Edelweiss Air operates three middle-haul Airbus A320-214 and one long-haul A330-243. Edelweiss Air was founded on 19th October 1995 in Bassersdorf by Nik Grob in collaboration with Kuoni Reisen AG. In 2001, Nik Grob handed over the management of Edelweiss Air to Karl Kistler. Since 1 November 2008, Edelweiss Air belongs to SWISS.
